Lost Land Lake Lodge - Hayward

This is undoubtedly the best food in northwestern Wisconsin. The prices are unbeatable, and the quality of the dishes is exceptional. I had the best fish fry I've ever tasted here.

Had the fish fry last night. Truly was the best I have ever had at any restaurant. Crispy, generous serving with delicious homemade tartar sauce, coleslaw, and crispy potato wedges. Pleasant server and owners. I'll definitely return next time I am inthe area.

Food was amazing, we've been coming for decades when visiting the family cabin near Hayward. The 3 servers tonight did a great job, especially Miriam and Amy who took a family photo of the 14 cousins and families. Can not beat the food anywhere.

If you haven't tried it yet, make sure to order the brandy old fashioned sweet—it's a must when you visit! In my opinion, they make the best one around. They’ve kept their secret homemade recipe under wraps. The atmosphere is perfect, creating a great vibe for dining. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Be sure to get the fish fry—both the broiled and fried options are delicious. And don’t skip the fries; they’re unexpectedly great! If you don't drink alcohol, I recommend trying the cherry grenadine sprite. Relax and enjoy your time here!

The fish fry is absolutely delicious, and the best part is that it's available every night, not just on Fridays. We've tried several other items from the menu, and everything has been flavorful. The owners are very hands-on and are a genuinely friendly couple.
