We stopped in Hebronville, on the way to a hunting lease down past El Sauz. We grew up with a Compadre from Kingsville that taught us how to make fajitas. His were amazing.These fajitas are a different style, in the sense that it is perfectly cooked faita meat, that is so simply seasoned and tender, I bet that it didn't even need to be marinated?Eating this meat, without Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and not even tortillas, was the perfect way to truly experience borderland BBQ!Wherever you are coming from, this is worth the drive, to eat like the locals eat!
