We stopped in late one night around 10:30 and the the cook still made us dinner which was very kind as the nearby places...were closed. I recommend the schnitzel, you can never go wrong with that .
We have been there with friends for a small farewell event. The pub offers a collection of different beer from a local brewery and freshly prepared simple dishes. The staff has been very friendly and we enjoyed our stay there.
On a chilly December night, far-enough-away from the hectic Christmas Market crowds, we slipped into a cozy table at this busy establishment and enjoyed friendly, attentive service, tasty beers, and wonderful meals. We ordered basics: a large feldsalat/bacon/crouton salad (large enough for my husband and...I to share) coupled with creamy Hefeweizen. Then came my husband's Flammkuchen and my goose dinner (I was the very hungry one last night) that I enjoyed with a chilled burgundy. Ended with espresso macchiato. All in all a wonderful experience and menu large and varied enough to warrant more visits!
The restaurant is beautiful and quiet, in a somewhat remote opposite and therefore less touristic. on the menu are typical dishes and specialties. the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are completely reasonable.Very good also the service by a trained and accommodating waiter who speaks several languages incl. italian.I would come back and recommend it.
Many typical German and typical local dishes in this quiet pub / restaurant in the quieter part of düsseldorf düsseldorf. we stopped one night at about 10:30 a.m. late and the chef made us dinner anyway, which was very nice as the nearby places were closed. I recommend the carving, so you can't do anything wrong.
