I saw the runeberg cakes in the window and I could not resist! Friendly and efficient service, price was reasonable. The cake was amazing, I’m sure everything else is too. Definitely recommend!

Small, but good things come in small packages it's the quality not quantity. Excellent range of breads from rye to the mini potato rieska and those in between. The sweet side just as appetising. All fresh that day so best to go early as certain things sell out fast. Couple of tables for coffee something. Well worth the trip.

This small café has friendly service and serves absolutely delicious cakes. I could have easily spent an entire afternoon here.

The old bakery in Southern Helsinki had almost reached hundred years in existence when the new owners took over in the rising boom of special coffees and local pastries. They have managed to grow the business steady enough to remain competetive with seven shops around town. Punavuori neighbourhood has been customers at their main shop in the Kankurinkatu red corner building for decades and generations.

Excellent coffee and wonderful pastries (the cardamom bun was particularly good), very friendly service and a central location. We didn't try the sandwiches but they looked good too. Only two tables and a bench outside but plenty of public spaces nearby if you can't get a seat.
