Capriotti's Sandwich Shop - Henderson

First off the food was SPECTACULAR! No problems with the food at all!! My reason for giving only 3 stars is the service. I walk in to put a to go order In and was immediately told, BEFORE I even told him I wanted to place a to go order, “it’s a 25 or 30 minute wait for sandwiches”… I asked “all sandwiches?” He said yes all sandwiches. I said ok and walked off. It Pissed me off because there was literally 1 person sitting at the tables eating, no one else, I walked back over to the order counter and the guy who told me it was a 30 minute wait already had his mask, gloves, apron and hat off. I said “I’ll take my chances on the wait” and ordered 2 “Bobbies” cold. After I ordered he said “Bobbie’s don’t take long at all” ??‍. I didn’t say anything about law to him until I got my food that took 4 minutes and 37 seconds to get, I timed it. So yeah, I guess That guy was hurriedly trying to get off work. Not cool

I am on a road trip wanting a quick bite I got a cheese steak sandwich and it was the rest I have ever had and Dave was very nice

Tasty pastrami sandwich. Wish there was a bit more as it was primarily the slaw

The sandwiches are great just lk (home made) and service (no complaints) awesome service...

This place makes great sandwiches, but I just can't seem to figure out exactly how to order a sandwich and have it be made the way I want it without being rude. The sandwiches come with additional ingredients that you didn't order. So you'd only know to exclude them if you've been here before often enough to know that it wasn't just a one time mistake. So then you go in and order it attempting to exclude those things, AND THEY STILL INCLUDE THEM. They're on autopilot. I feel like if I was explicit enough during the ordering, and then asked them to repeat it back to me, then quizzed them about my order, maybe I could get the message across. But then again maybe not, and that seems like a good way to some even worse stuff included in my sandwich. I think the last time will probably be my final attempt. It's too bad, because they do make good sandwiches. But you know what they say, fool me 13ish times, shame on me for going back.
