Roberto's Taco Shop - Henderson

I've been dining at Roberto's for what feels like 20 years, and it never disappoints. The food is always great, and the portion sizes are generous. Today, I enjoyed the rolled tacos with guacamole for just under five dollars, and they were both delicious and plentiful.

My only complaint is that they cook all their carne asada and chicken with red peppers, which I don't understand because I'm not a fan of peppers in my meat. The main reason I go there is for their breakfast burritos, which are really good compared to others in the area. So, it's a solid option when I'm craving Mexican food in a hurry. However, if I have time, I'd prefer to drive a bit further to find meat without peppers. The staff here is friendly and fast, and I can't comment on the inside atmosphere since I only used the drive-thru.

This is officially our favorite Roberto's! The woman who took David's order was incredibly kind and made him feel comfortable when he asked for the Senior Citizen discount (10%). Overall, she was fantastic (this was around 9:04 am on a Tuesday). The carne asada fries are amazing – you get about six times more than what you'd find at Del Taco, though the price is three times higher. David and I can usually eat a good amount of carne asada with or without toppings and fries, but sharing this portion is enough for both of us. Plus, this Roberto's is exceptionally clean.

I had a really disappointing experience with the customer service. I ordered carne asada fries through Uber Eats, but they didn't include any carne asada. I went to the restaurant to get it sorted out, but the staff member was extremely rude. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and fixing it, she simply told me to contact Uber Eats for a refund and refused to offer any assistance. This isn't the first issue I've had at this restaurant, but it will definitely be my last. I won't be returning—this cashier really made the experience unpleasant.
