Charro beans a thick but dont do it as your main course is a... good part to enjoy. Ask for the boil-dried tortillas how to make the great combination with beans or sauces. The location is clean and the parking is free when you dine in the restaurant. If you become a frecuent customer, you will receive the same waiter as he will remember you when you are a good tipper and treat you as a license.
While I understand that they have specialized in Kabrito, we decided to try Los Norteños, but order something else and were totally disappointed. The decor is very economical, with bright, white lighting and uncomfortable chairs. The day we went, things were not very clean and the menu... very limited. Their portions were tiny, and the waiter did not bring any foundations such as tortillas, cutlery or napkins and said they were from several things. It took forever to get our meal and let us debat when we should just go. It was not crowded at all and we could not understand how it could take so long to prepare a base plate. We will not return. It was a very depressing experience.
Probably one of the best restaurants in all Matamoros to serve a local delicacies of Kabrito! You open fire grill/roast these cabritos to perfectly delicate. Your meat is of the highest standard. You can have served the cabrito in its own juices or have sown it or you can have served it in its own exotic blood sauce. We recommend ordering Machitos for the table! Choose meat all filled in a shell and cooked for perfection! A must! Are you interested in trying some delicacies? Try a Cabezita! It is similar to Mexican beef Barbacoa, except the meat is left on the head for the presentation!
Muy recomendable, el cabrito es excelente! la atención de los meseros mas que aceptable, precios muy pagables.

The decor is very spartan, with bright, white lighting and uncomfortable chairs. The day we went, things were not very clean and the menu extremely limited.
