The fonda santa Clara restaurants have long been known as some of the best traditional Poblano spots, and they do not despise with generous portions, tasty eating, good service and eye-catching decor. this special location is a few blocks away from zócalo. despite a pretty...small dining room, we didn't have to wait for a table and wait immediately. valet is their only real option if they arrive with the car. the garlic soup is heavenly, and I also enjoyed my 3 mol sauce enchiladas.

Visited here for dinner with a friend. She visited this place several times in the past and suggest we have dinner there Food was excellent. All authentic cuisine which we never find in California. I ordered the goat steamed barbecue which is more of an...indigenous pre Hispanic era cuisine. It was very good as was all other dishes and drinks. Very very reasonably priced, I think I should retire here.

We ordered chiles en nogada and they were not made with chop meat, but with small pieces pork. the filling had too much fruit and the sauce had too much cinnamon and exaggerated all the others. we couldn't eat it and we could return the tellers. the worst part was that we were accused of chiles and the superior would not remove the meal from the bill. he said that, when the food was ordered and prepared, we had to pay for it, even if we didn't eat it. very dissatisfied with the restaurant.

Nos llevo un amigo Mexicano a conocer este sitio, que ademas otras personas lo habían recomendado si pasábamos a conocer Puebla. Como turista me indicaron que probara el Chile en Nogada, y debo decir que me pareció lo mas exquisito y delicioso de los platos mexicanos que pude probar. Mi esposo pidió el Mole Poblano y salimos encantados con la comida, con la atención y con el sitio, muy pintoresco y colorido.Lo recomendaría sin duda por que salí satisfecha, muy bien atendida y realmente complacida de una comida de exquisita.

Lugarzaso para llevar visitas los alimentos son muy tradicionales, bien servidos, el lugar muy agradable a la vista, los meseros lentos, deberás pedirlas las cosas hasta en tres ocasiones, baño oloroso.
