Schaumbürger Hof - Hessisch Oldendorf

We had an overnight stay in this guesthouse. It was clean and functional. Unfortunately we had no contact. If that were the case, it might have been difficult to find someone who could help. Access was enabled via email and a key safe. That worked well. Room was as shown in the photos. Small, clean and functional. Shower took a VERY long time to get warm. Low ceiling height. Tall people (approx. 180) could have problems. Just an old half-timbered house. Not many options in the village itself. There is a Near and Good within walking distance. But certainly a great starting point for hikers. A bit noisy because the house is on the main road. Overall: you can do it However, the price was too high for me for this room. There was also no possibility to get a coffee or something to eat directly in the house. At least not that I noticed. There is a baker opposite.

There is only the key for a room in a key safe, no service, no restaurant anymore. The room is clean and convenient, quite simply furnished. In the room you don't like to stop and the place offers only a pizzeria and no more restaurant. Bicycles cannot be accommodated in a closed room.

Everything tasted very well and the service was very friendly

A very nice hotel, people and service is family and really great, the rooms are convenient and clean!!

In my opinion, price/performance does not fit at all!
