Forest Hill Golf Conference Centre

I believe the positive reviews must have been from when the restaurant was called Ben's Kitchen. My experience was quite disappointing. I paid £20 for a lamb roast that was subpar - the Yorkshire pudding was difficult to cut and the lamb itself was fatty with hard, crispy pieces. The gravy was greasy, there was no mint sauce available, and I was still waiting for salt and pepper. Additionally, the red wine was served ice cold. Only 5 tables were occupied, and 4 of them had complaints. I have never been so let down by a meal.

Nice that I could have ' a doggy bag ' as too ooh good to leave Great new makeover and pleasant ambience..Thank you ladies We are back on the 20th August, on the back of local Sunday roasts, this place/ food rates extremely highly, reasonably priced too

I was truly impressed with the spacing of the tables and the presence of hand sanitizer, ensuring all safety measures were in place. The meal was beautiful, and I even took my dessert to go because I couldn't bear to leave without it. The staff were incredibly friendly, happy, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. To top it off, the chef came around to check on the food and the staff were always checking in to see if we needed anything. It was a complete pampering experience and I want to give a huge thank you to everyone involved – you were all amazing. I can't wait to come back for breakfast, and I highly recommend a visit. And by the way, the dessert was amazing – I loved it!

Recently had our wedding breakfast and reception at Forest Hill on the 17th August and the food was amazing, service was spot on and the day went really smoothly (although there were some timing issues) We had such an amazing day and we cannot thank Forest Hill enough. We received compliments from everyone about how good our day was and that it was the best wedding they've been to. I hope the staff who helped us enjoyed the cake we left for them!
