Both were clean, quiet and affordable, and a good way to connect with other travelers. Coco and her staff are very friendly and helpful. We got excellent restaurant recommendations as well as flexible check-in/check-out times, which was very helpful when we had all our luggage hanging with us and nowhere else. We didn't feel like nickel at all and, unlike some of our other stays in Vietnam, we dug. The location is great, it feels very safe, and there is a lot of food and shopping just minutes away. Coco offers a free toast and tea/coffee in the morning, which was perfect to go. Besides, there are two super sweet cats you hang with! The first time to find this place can be a little tricky, you have to go through a painted blue gate down the street a bit of a alley. A fun, clean, friendly and affordable place to crash in Ho Chi Minh City. Five stars.
I came here to eat Thai cuisine last Friday as a reference of my friend. Such a beautiful and cozy place, plus the food was super good, especially Tom-Yum soup (highly recommended). For cat lovers there is a charming fluffy cat that is saved by the owner to smuggle around <3 What a beautiful experience!
So a perfect location to explore the city for a few days. The dormitory was cozy and quiet, the breakfast was simple, but good, and the people were very friendly and helpful. It might be difficult to find, but look for 178 pasteur, the baby blue gate, and go back to the alley. Very safe place!
Good hostel which is well run, clean and quiet, a nice homely feel. They have a house cat called Gatsby which is lovely. It's set off the main road, gated entrance is the right hand side of Chiyoda Sushi restaurant
A friendly hostel in a quiet alley amidst the best location in the city. So close to everything worth seeing and still tranquil enough so you can get away from the buzzing streets. The lady host is very nice, who runs her place with order and good sense of cleanliness. There's a good little bar in the ground floor for quick coffee and something to eat, cooked by the host herself.
