The Deck - Hobart

Great night although too close to the freezing cold uncovered part of the outdoor area. Was plenty of space for us to be seated further in where it was warmer covered and well heated). Food was great. Service was average. Booked for 6 and had 2 different sized tables joined (1 bigger table for 2 tacked onto the end) which was odd and unnecessary given how many tables were unused. Would go again but only in summer or with a definite inside booking.

For a restaurant with more than 25% chicken on the menu to have run out of chicken is not ok, to then serve stale buns with raw beef burgers is also not ok, to have a booking from 11am when they dont open until 11.30 am is not ok. Will not bother to ever return

I love the deck because of its atmosphere and food, thats why we keep on coming back. However last night, was a bit disappointing. I am with friends for my birthday and two of them got their food after almost 2 hours. Considering they are the first two who ordered. The rest of our food was serve in less than 20mins. We had to actually follow up multiple times. One of my friends actually end up doing a take out cause she just completely lost her appetite. Also, i booked for 10 people when we arrive the lady who assisted us doesnt seem to know where our reserve seat gonna be. She led the way and just push the round tables together. When another set of my friends arrive, its a different lady who assisted them and theyve been taken to the other side and she said that was the table booked for us. It was a bit annoying because the deck has been really good, but last night was totally different. I am not sure if its worth coming back.

For the price, the size of the pizza (sharing) was very small and the amounts of the used materials like bacon and chicken were low. The chairs were good for sitting but not comfortable for eating at all. however, the staffs were nice and polite. Thank you, Alireza

A little disappointed on my first visit to the Deck I expected a view as the name suggests but the surrounding wall prohibited this. I also found the menu very limited.
