We visited the South Side location (which does not have a restaurant for the pastries, which were delicious. But the hit at our table was the chorizo pig that we tried on a whim. The line moved quickly, prices were reasonable, service was great, and coffee was good. There are tables inside and out, and a little park next to the parking lot.
My family and I ate breakfast at DeBoer’s and enjoyed our breakfast. Food: delicious pancakes with fresh berries. We also ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo, beans, and rice. They have fresh orange juice, and an assortment of pastries and coffee “to-go”. Service: professional and courteous, but be prepared to wait. It was a 45-minute wait to be seated. Decor: quaint and low key. Cost: fair price for what you get. Overall modestly priced.
Everything is good here. Food, pastries, coffee. All of it.
The best Ham Gouda croissants ?! I highly recommend.
