Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - Holland

We waited more than 10 minutes without being served, but then we flagged down Lexi, who took excellent care of us. If it hadn't been for her and her manager Tammy, we probably wouldn't consider returning. A big thanks to them!

I struggled to find a simple hamburger on the menu, so I opted for the most basic option available—a cheeseburger with a fancy name. My son ordered another type of hamburger, and when they arrived, both were toweringly tall, making them nearly impossible to take a bite of. I had to take mine apart just to eat it. The taste was pretty standard, except for a relish-ketchup mix that didn’t do much for it when tasted on its own—again, heavily salted. Aside from the fancy names and the unpleasant sauces, the burgers were nothing special and certainly didn’t impress. Overall, I have definitely had much better meals for a much lower price. We spent $35 for two burgers, onion rings, a soda for my son, and just ice water for me. Wow! While our server was friendly, the service overall was just adequate—nothing remarkable that would justify the steep price for such a mediocre meal.

It wasn't too crowded on Monday night shortly after 6 PM. In the past, it was difficult to finish everything with so many fries and aïoli sauce, but that wasn't the case tonight—it was excellent! Our server checked on us several times, probably three or four, to see if we needed anything else; she was very attentive. The manager also delivered our food and followed up to ensure we were happy. The food was delicious; their burgers are always outstanding.

Our waitress was amazing. She shared details about their new, modern menu, which we found intriguing. Neither my friend nor I felt overwhelmed by the changes. She mentioned an Amish couple who came by on the first day of the switch and didn’t even have a phone, so they left. However, our waitress was there for us, providing warm and attentive service that addressed all our needs. Thank you to that young lady for the excellent service!

As expected, the burgers and unlimited fries are outstanding, and the service is excellent. There’s no long wait for the fries, drinks, or food, which all arrive promptly. This restaurant clearly reflects great management, and the team at Holland is doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!
