Super fresh, insanely tasty, staff were also incredibly kind and helpful with recommendations.
I visited this place in 2015... and I have not been able to find anything that could match this place in the mainland yet. I am going to revisit this place in 2025 for my 10th anniversary...and I can't wait!!
Ordered their viral sushi cake to see what the buzz isbout’ its basically a caked shaped cali roll topped with sashimi. it’s a novelty for sho’. it’s heavvvyyy for its compact size, enough to feed 6 to eight people. the sashimi on top was fresh, the sticky rice base was a bit stickier than rolls, but i think thats by design for it to hold its shape. great novelty for a bday party. tasted better than i expected and was satisfying. the lady at the counter was super cool and helpful.
Easily some of the best poke bowls I have had. The fish is incredibly fresh and the poke bowl options on the menu are excellent combinations. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with limited parking, but we lucked out with finding a spot in the lot out back, otherwise, it would have been challenging. We arrived a short time before the restaurant closed, but the person working the counter allowed us to eat our bowls in the restaurant. We tried the salmon, which was incredible on its own, rich, buttery flavors, definitely some of the better salmon I have had. Highly recommend really reasonable prices for phenomenally fresh salmon and ahi, with a friendly and welcoming staff.
