Kona Brewing Co. - Honolulu

First time visiting this restaurant. We went to the original Kona Brewing Company in Kona earlier this year, and it was very good. This restaurant has a great view of Hawaii Kai, the marina, and the top of the Koko Head Trail. The service was great. The menu is different from the one in Kona. The prices are definitely higher on the food, and they don't offer single slice pizza. The beer was good as always. I tried the Mai Tai, which the waitress advised me was strong and a new recipe. For me, it wasn't strong at all, and I tasted way too much coconut flavor. But you don't know til you try it. The pizza rolls were great and filling. The pizza was also very good. The chicken wings were good but wished there were more wings and fewer drumsticks. We also had the Kilauea Lava dessert. It was very good and the brownie was nice and warm. Overall, I will go back but during Happy Hour. I want to try the kalua pork taco.

Great beer , the place is really nice with plenty of outdoor seating with shades. One thing: tips for the retail store keeper ??? And if you're not aware you will sign without noticing that it's pre selected for 18% tips.

Nice open restaurant with a great view right by the waters of the marina. The only minor thing is that it can get very windy. Pizzas we had were very good. You can mix different pizzas in one pan. We were a group of 5 so we had two pans of four different pizzas.

The view is epic, the food is great. I have ate 8-10 different things and have never been disappointed.

I love coming to Kona Brewing Co. I've been living on the street and come here since I was a kid and now I'm an adult. The views are great...
