Machete's Mean Sandwiches - Honolulu

I love stopping at Machete's to get a quick bite. Your bread has a freshly baked lightness that is perfectly complemented with hearty cut meat and crispy vegetables. The middle turkey ham is my jam (but no jam on it). Food is FRESH and delicious The staff is friendly and fast to complete your order. Also playing music via speakers is always choice. I just wish they'd turn it up a bit!

These are some of the largest and best sandwiches on this island. In fact, I challenge everyone to find a better one.

I pass this shop frequently since I now work in Waikiki. Today, (Saturday), I had an appointment in town, so I decided this was the day I was going to treat my taste buds to a new adventure. SO GLAD I STOPPED IN! Bread is substantial and delicious (I had the wheat); and I got the Italian and The Machete to take home and share. Both were really delicious; just the right balance of bread, meat, veg, cheese and dressings. I'll be back!
