So, if you're ordering for the whole table, it's helpful to bring someone along. Expect to wait in line at Axelrad, whether it’s for drinks or the restroom. Note that they don’t serve food directly; you'll have to order from the food truck or Luigi’s next door. I’ve always opted for Luigi’s, and their pizza is delicious. Made fresh to order, you can either enjoy it at their picnic tables under the awning or have it served on a plate at Axelrad, but they don’t provide takeout boxes. The 12-inch pizza with eight slices typically costs around $15. The wings are also worth trying—eight for $11, and we had them with Buffalo sauce, though there's a BBQ option as well. The bathroom is definitely worth the wait; there's a TV in the mirror, so you won’t miss any of the game. The bartenders are friendly, and there's a wide selection of beers on tap. They also offer a rotating menu of cocktails and frozen drinks, which are always tasty, although they tend to be on the lighter side in terms of strength. We tried the Last Call and Second Line cocktails. Axelrad is ADA accessible, though parking can be a bit challenging.
It's no surprise that this place has such a high rating. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the drinks are fairly priced. The beer of the day is inexpensive and comes with some great options. Food trucks frequently visit, and if you're lucky enough to catch them in time, Luigi’s Pizzeria is right next door! One food truck mentioned in this review is Muishii. The patio is lovely and spacious with ample seating, but it can get busy, so be prepared to wait for a table!
I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant! I went out with some friends and decided to stay upstairs since it was a bit quieter. They were screening "The Big Lebowski" tonight, which was great to see everyone just enjoying themselves. They offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks that change every couple of weeks, I believe. If you’re looking for a fun late-night hangout with friends, this is a great spot! Just a heads up—there are occasionally days with a cover charge!
Hugely popular, and fun beer garden atmosphere. Google maps isn't great about recognizing that it's a bar food trucks when available. The other activities, like Halloween movies on the big screen in October, make it worth a visit.
It?s no wonder this place has such a high rating. The staff is super friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. Beer of the day is cheap and they surprise you with good options for it. Food trucks present often (that I know) but if you catch them on time, Luigi?s Pizzeria is right next door! Food truck featured in review: Muishii. The patio is very nice and spacious with plenty of seating. It can get busy though so be patient if you?d like to sit down!
