I've been on my way for years and have introduced my friends, family, co-workers who love everything about it. I introduced my father a few years ago for his birthday, which he refuses to celebrate him somewhere else. The owner is always super friendly. The waiters are usually the same, so it's extremely secret to go to a restaurant where you remembered? I always feel so special here. If you're here, feel like family. The food always impresses. I had lamb, fish, steak, pasta and all were just amazing. As a dirty martinian, they even have blue cheese filled olives. The bananas promote Ceasar Salat are things you cannot skip. They're both side of the table. They serve food even better in the late hours of the night. Perfect for after a concert or if you? after a romantic dinner. If I guess it only holds about 30 people, so it is very picturesque to add to the local feeling. There's a piano with a pianoman who always plays. The guests are here to sing! It's always so much fun. I really think this is the hidden gem of Houston. Thank you to Fuad?s forever, we never disappoint!
If I can give this place less than a star, I would, because the owner was simply rude and racist. I do not know how management discriminates against certain customers. When we came in, the Maitre D gave us a glimpse that basically gave us up. I ate in this restaurant More than once and I enjoyed the experience. But one Sunday evening I was hanging on the bar and enjoying live music with a friend when the owner asked if we wanted to eat or drink and we said we were okay, he asked me? So, what are you doing here? And I answered that I would just hang around and enjoy the evening. Then you should go, I have to run a business. I pay bills and even the music you enjoy, I pay for it? I told him that he was rude that I am a paying customer and not deserved to be spoken in this way. He went away without an apology of any kind and showed his lack of simple courtesy
I think the place is wonderful with a good environment and staff. The idea of no menu kitchen disturbs me (which were later confirmed with food poisoning). I didn't know you could ruin a ribeye until I tried one of here. I will say not know what you are for understandardized foods (which if you fluctuate with some cartridges) is criminal in my mind. I feel a lack of standards and practices and would not recommend it to the avg person.
I had only one dessert and two club-sodas. The dessert was a chocolate cake with ice cream. The cake was a small single-layer flat cake with German chocolate icing, which tasted like a box mix and made from a can icing. The size of the disc was about 3×3 inches. The ice was icy and blue bell or similar. The club soda was small bottles of Schweppes and the bill was 27.00!
This is my first review and it?s only because I read some douche bag remarks about this joint. Hands down the best restaurant in Houston and frankly my favorite period. And yes, I?ve been to Waco. Nothing compares to the experience, personal touch, ambiance, crowd, and certainly the food. I?d rather have a bad night at Fuad?s (never has happened) than a great night at the Oak Room, Chez Tres, Waldorf, or Mont Crosby?s! Trust me, this is as good as it gets!
