We visited this restaurant last week. this is one of the most delicious fusion meals we have ever eaten. the menu is extensive and varied and offers for every taste of Indian cuisine. we had to start the chicken chooza and that was absolutely delicious. for the net we had saffron shrimp and scallop sand chicken chilla, both were wonderful and fill. the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I listened to other diners commentary at their meal times and all were positiw. we will go back here safely and very to people who like to eat.
This is my first visit to an authentic Indian restaurant here in Houston. The interior and its surroundings is very upscale and so as the price. We ordered crab samosas, patra fish, and goat masala. While waiting for more than 20 mins for our main dishes to arrive, we were served with some free appetizer. I really love most of the dishes except patra fish which I think is too mild. I would say this restaurant style is more towards Northern Indian style. If you want something spicy, just inform them at the time when you are ordering to avoid disappointment. Indian Mysore Harley tea is nice ending for the meal. And yes, we got free cookies again! I'm a happy girl :
Tried this place for lunch as a part of the Houston Restaurant Week (HRW). My wife and I had a 3-course meal. The portions were reasonable, however taste wise I didn't find anything special. I tried the corn chaat which was good, the lamb biriyani which was flavorful, the dessert chickoo ice cream was so-so. My wife tried the apricot naan (which was so-so), chicken tikka masala which was good, the bread pudding was disappointing. Also thought the vallet parking was unnecessary!
The place was decent. Nice seating space. Food was below average. Food here is severely over priced. The chicken looked tasted like it was those that came out of a frozen bag. Our waiter was nice, but kept forgetting our food and what we ordered. Food took forever to get to the table. The only good thing about this place was the drinks. They were amazing. The chocolate bread pudding wasn't all that great either. Super small portions for a hefty price.
