The spaghetti marinara was a bit disappointing; I expected it to be as delicious as the ravioli and eggplant parmesan, but it just didn't have the right flavor. The pasta with vodka sauce was okay, though it had a rather unusual taste. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic.
Wow! The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend trying the kohlrabi and the jalapeño pepper. The bartender was fantastic as well—definitely worth sitting at her bar. The happy hour looked like a great deal, but it wasn't at a convenient time for me.
Such a great experience. Our server was fantastic, and the food and drink was fabulous. I'm so excited for the Tavern to open for real!
The appetizers were delicious. Our entrees were decent; the chicken Parmesan was served in a huge portion and by the end of the meal, chicken was soggy after being soaked in the red sauce for too long. A little underwhelming, unfortunately compared to our first One Fifth experience.
Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by this concept (Red Sauce Italian). The food was incredibly underwhelming for the price and I was frustrated afterwards spending that amount of money for such a mediocre meal. The vodka rigatoni pasta was not vodka sauce or rigatoni, it was more like a basic Mac and cheese that was just alright. Tasted like something I could easily find at a very average Italian place. The fried mozzarella was also very ok, not worth the 20 dollars especially for the size. Very disappointed One Fifth really missed the mark on this concept..
