UPDATE REVIEW. Went today around 4:35 PM May 26, 2024. Got the Broccoli dish and added beef. I must say after trying them 3 times and leaving not such great reviews(1 stars) . I was impressed today. The young man at the counter wasn't the most delighted or outgoing person but he was professional and straight forward. Service was a 5/5 cause he didn't mind waiting for me to look at the menu and he gave me a refill on my soda before I left. Ambiance is of course awesome as usual. Amazing LED lighting and cool graphics everywhere. The food itself was great, nice and hot, flavorful. Broccoli was still crunchy but soft which I loved a lot. Beef was great too. I got 2 egg rolls which were nice and crunchy! Rice was more in the bland side but compared to some peoples...ahem heights Asian cafe.... It was great! I'm so glad to finally be able to leave a good review for you guys at rice box. PS The worst part about the dish was how hot it was... but isn't that a good thing???!

The pepper steak was 15.99 then they added 1.10 service fee, then they assumed a tip for a counter order and pick-up. At best there was 2 to 3 ounces of meat, it was filled with onions and peppers, very low cost items as primary fillers, it's basically a bowl of large cut onions and peppers, I asked for brown rice, another very low cost ingredient, other than the very small portion of meat the food cost on this meal was about 60 cents at best, the total food cost of all ingredients and packaging was about ten of the retail cost! This is absolutely outrageous! This meal should be priced at 8.99 at best! Not worth the visit! It's THEFT! Don't buy the pepper steak! There ain't no pepper steak to speak of in there!

Ambiance is quite nice but the food wasn't the best in my opinion. For chinese/ chinese american food I would go to Panda Express. Food: 4/10 I would not come back for the food. Orange peeled beef: Probably the best thing I ordered. It had a citrusy and sweet element from the orange. The beef had a slight sticky crisp from being candied which was nice. It wasn't too tender but it was alright! It came in a togo box of rice and with an eggroll. The egg roll was pretty good. standard. Orange Chicken: Not as good as panda express . It is citrusy and sweet from the orange, similar to the beef. It was standard..flavor wise nothing too impressive. Service: Good service, you order at the counter. It was quite busy when i went. Ambiance: Great for hanging out with friends especially at night! It has great mood lighting and feels lively!

Found this place on TikTok, I came a year ago and wanted to try it again but it wasn't the same, the noodles were dry and had a weird taste to it that wasn't appetizing, the sesame chicken did not taste like the typical sauce they serve at authentic Chinese take out, although the crab Rangoon's were crispy and delicious by far the only taste thing of my meal. Not sure if I will come back or recommend it, there's more authentic and more affordable with more portions the service is good everyone was nice, the seating is also not the best there's mostly outside seating and with the flies around doesn't make the food appetizing.
