It only took about 15 minutes for the order to be ready. When I picked up the items, I noticed they were packed tightly. It took an additional 10 minutes to pick up because the lady was unsure how to use the eftpos machine. The food was good, still hot when we got home.
This suburban Chinese restaurant is quite popular for Friday lunch, with a variety of options on their $10 lunch menu. The food is tasty and a good value for the price. It's a great choice for a quick lunch in the area or for takeout.
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and Chinese is her favourite. Hadn't tried Rice Kitchen before, but the menu looked like what we were after and prices are reasonable. It didn't disappoint. We ordered a total of 12 dishes so we really got a taste of a diverse range. Everything was just 'yum'! They had several banquet menus too. BYO suited us fine. Service was great and the couple running it were really delightful. My parents in from out-of-town asked if we could have the next birthday celebration there. And I think we will!
This is little place that run by family business. It was recommended by one of my friend. The food tastes very nice. I believe the chef knew how to cook good Chinese food. Not too oily and salty. Also, they have something that not show on menu. You need to ask the boss and reserve before hand. One of quality Chinese restaurant
This restaurant was originally in Lane Cove, the owners moved here in 2012 and I, along with many of the Lane Cove locals, quickly followed. This place offers fantastic and tasty food for incredibly reasonable prices. They not only serve up the usual Chinese dishes like Sweet and Sour Pork but also more diverse ones like Pork Belly with Pickled Cabbage. This place is great!
