Shake Shack First National Building Downtown Detroit

We received our DoorDash delivery, and it was very disappointing. The chicken sandwich had a bite taken out of it, as if someone had already eaten it. It was overcooked on the outside and raw in the center. The fries were small, undercooked, and nearly raw. The milkshake was just chocolate milk and looked nothing like the pictures on the DoorDash website. It's unacceptable that this food came from their kitchen. The spoiled lettuce and the overall presentation were shocking, and I would never eat there again. We have also reported this to DoorDash.

Fantastic burger joint with delicious shakes! I ordered through the app and only waited around ten minutes. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food was really enjoyable!

The ingredients are of excellent quality, and it truly reflects in the taste. However, this does come with a cost—approximately $15 for a single burger, fries, and a large drink. Go ahead and indulge yourself! You might as well get a shake while you're there.

I went to Shake Shack for the first time last week after hearing so much about it over the years, and I was eager to give it a try. While the food was delicious, I didn’t think it was worth the price. We ended up spending $30 for two people, which seems quite steep compared to what we could have paid at similar places. To me, it felt like a more upscale version of Steak N Shake. The service was satisfactory, and the interior was fairly clean.

The food here certainly lives up to the hype it has created. While the self-service ordering at the counter might take some getting used to—especially with other customers picking up their orders in sight—the staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is clean and well-lit. Overall, I had a very pleasant dining experience.
