Sugar Shack Cafe is just outstanding! First of all, I called a few weeks before our visit to Huntington Beach to find out about gluten free or gluten friendly options and they were very helpful. When we finally did visit, our first visit was excellent and our second visit was even better! It was pretty busy yesterday and our server, Julia, handled it smoothly and was very friendly and helpful, an excellent server. This morning we had the pleasure of being served by (I think the owner/manager Ryan), who was warm and welcoming and friendly. Really made us feel comfortable. And his wife (I don’t think we got her name, sadly) took over service this morning and she was awesome, too. Very friendly, welcoming, and great with the coffee refills and everything else. The food was EXCELLENT. I know, you might be thinking how excited can you get about breakfast, but it was great. Coffee was delicious, bacon was crispy, eggs were fluffy, hash browns were particularly good crispy, not the least bit greasy, just great! And the eggs Benedict (day two, this morning) were out of this world! First of all, I’ve almost never had an eggs Benedict dish come out hot, in any restaurant, ever, but here it came out hot! And the Hollandaise was great, not too lemony, smooth as silk; the ham was tasty, too! Nice English muffin too. Just the perfect eggs Benedict. PLUS and a BIG plus for my wife and me it’s open at 6 AM! And I love the ambiance with the surf photos on the walls, and it’s small but comfortable inside. And you CAN eat outside if you want. To me, this is the exact kind of breakfast experience you want, and I’m happy to support this business and highly recommend it to others!

Great place for amazing food! Great servers, good is thd best. The Peggy french toast and the eggs Benedict amazing!!

I love to eat Breakfast here. Great food friendly staff, down the street from the pier . . . Parking can be an issue, if not close enough.
