A great addition to Independence choices is Sam's Southern eatery.

The first time I tried this place I headed through their drive-through lane, only to find no sign and no speakers.
This restaurant offers the best seafood for the price in Independence. The jumbo shrimp are truly impressive! Each visit guarantees a lovely atmosphere. You won't find better seafood unless you head south. Every bite brings back memories of Louisiana.
The food at Sam's is fantastic, and it's perfect for great people. The dishes are exceptional, and I truly love dining here.
