When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed the pepperoni looked strange, but I thought I would give it a chance. Once in the car, I took a closer look and realized that this didn’t look like any vegan pepperoni I had seen before. I checked the receipt, hoping to find some indication that it was indeed vegan, but I couldn’t tell anything from it. I went back inside to confirm whether the pepperoni was plant-based. The staff seemed confused at first, but then the girl who made my pizza confirmed that it was vegan. I brought the pizza home, baked it, and had a slice. The first piece didn’t have much pepperoni on it, so I didn’t think much of it. However, when I took a bite of the second slice, I immediately had to spit it out. My fiancé came over, shocked as she inspected it, and exclaimed that I had been eating pork! I couldn't believe it—how could there be such a mix-up in a restaurant that promotes vegan options? I called the restaurant right away, and the person on the phone informed me that they don’t even carry any vegan meat substitutes. It turned out she thought I was asking about the cheese! This lack of communication is concerning for a place that claims to cater to vegan diets. Despite checking multiple times to ensure everything was vegan, I ended up devastated by this oversight. All they did was offer me a new pizza, but that did little to ease my disappointment. I haven’t eaten pork in over eight years due to cultural reasons, and I haven’t consumed any animal products in five years! I’m incredibly disappointed and upset that my dietary restrictions and cultural values seemed to mean nothing to them. Someone needs to address this situation!
The Garlic Pizza was excellent, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return.
I have Never been to a Papa Murphy?s so I when I walked in I didn?t know they didn?t bake the pizza. The customer service person failed to inform me of that as well when I ordered. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick it up and it?s an uncookedpizza after having already payed for it!!! You should not assume every customer knows you only sell uncooked pizza! Youshould tell people that when they order and not assume they already know. If I wanted to bake it my self I could have savedtime and money and gotten a frozen pizza at Walmart after all you use thawed out crust and sprinkle on ingredients same asWalmart only theirs only cost 6.99 instead of 20! My biggest complaint is your failure to inform walk in customers that theyare buying a raw pizza!!!
The pizza is excellent, but the curbside service could use some improvement.
