Mango Salad - Ingersoll

I have a partner who lives in Woodstock, and as someone who tends to complain a lot, I often point out how dull and lacking in culture the town is (except for this one Indian restaurant that serves the best Indian food I've ever had). Surprisingly, we stumbled upon Mango Salad in our search for the perfect green coconut curry, and decided to make the trek for dinner. It turned out to be the best decision ever. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the restaurant was charming (with excellent air conditioning), the service was top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. It's truly a hidden gem in an unexpected location. Who would have thought that Ingersoll would be the go-to spot for fantastic Thai cuisine? We will definitely be returning. We were advised to make a reservation, which we did, but it may not have been necessary (it was 6 pm on a Thursday). Since it's a small place, it might be best to call ahead and reserve a spot just to be safe.

Drove from London with two friends to try this place around a month ago! My friend loves this place, calling it the best Thai place in the region. We started off with two orders of fresh rolls. I absolutely loved the peanut sauce that came with the rolls, but found the rolls themselves a bit thick with the wrapping. By the time we finished the rolls (there were only three of us), we were pretty much a quarter full! We ordered three mains to share, family style. We got the mango fried rice (my friend's favourite), an emerald curry, and a seafood pad thai. I thoroughly enjoyed the fried rice; although I found it a tad greasy, the mango bits were an interesting addition that really accentuated the dish. The seafood pad thai was also delicious and came with a generous portion of massive prawns and lots of squid! Again, a little oily and the noodles were a tad limp. The emerald curry was okay I found the bamboo flavour to be a bit overpowering and overwhelming, and there was the unmistakable strong flavour of coconut milk (a little too much). Overall, an okay meal made enjoyable by friends. The server was also very friendly as well!

Amazing authentic Thai food in the middle of ingersol. My wife and I had the red panang and the mixed vegetables. They were amazing. I highly recommend.

I've been going to mango salad since I was little and it's always delicious! All of the curries are to die for and the coconut rice is fluffy and has a great flavour. I would recommend this place to anybody. Even with covid, their takeout is still awesome since they did it before and have practice. Tastes the same as in person!
