We were not disappointed, we had the Yorkies as an app, basically Yorkshire pudding, with roast beef, onions, mushrooms in Gravy, molten Swiss cheese with horseradish aioli above, we... have it on the side, I am not a horseradish fan, so I decided o. The sauce, the Yorkie was incredible, then we split 3lb, 1/2 Honey Garlic and 1/2 Mild. Wings were slightly dusted, absolutely huge wings, cooked for perfection, was absolutely impressed, and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was great, service was great. I gave this a 4 star because I rarely give 5 stars to everything, 4 is great, 5 must be above all others. I'd put those wings in the Top 5 I've ever had, and I'm a wing player, I tried tons. Well done Cookstown Pub
We starve. I needed something quick. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had ordered a loaded flatbread. Delish! With meat loaf entrees. We were not disappointed food was excellent. The only reason I didn't have five stars was because we waited for our ducks for almost 30 minutes.
Our expectations were not too high as we were at the Innisfil Antique Market and wanted to find somewhere for lunch, so we searched for a "terrace restaurant" online. Due to Covid restrictions, we were unsure of what would be open nearby. The pub was located in a terrace strip mall, but they had done a nice job with the interior and the terrace. The wooden construction on one side, flower crates, and a large red umbrella made it a welcoming space and gave the feeling of not being in a parking lot. There were fields on one side, but unfortunately, a windbreak blocked the view. We walked through the restaurant to reach the terrace and were warmly greeted by the server who assured us she would be taking care of us. Throughout our time at the pub, we were very satisfied with the service. Contrary to other reviews, we found the service to be quick, polite, and genuine. We asked for food recommendations based on some reviews, and we were told everything was good. We ordered two soda waters and were promptly offered lime wedges. We then ordered the Mediterranean Flatbread and the chicken and goat cheese Flatbread, both of which were delicious. I was a bit disappointed that the Mediterranean Flatbread did not have feta as advertised on the menu, but I didn't mention it to the server as it was still great without it. We opted not to have coffee or dessert. As we left, the server thanked us happily. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it as an affordable pub with tasty food and friendly service.
This pub is tricky to find as it is at the end of a small stripe mall. We went to a beautiful autumn day during Covid. Your terrace is safely furnished, and I like how to make a lot of... Tables for 6. Although we were a group of 4, we could certainly distance each other on this table. We only got drinks, but we got a good feeling of the server (very polite, no problem with separate controls) and the terrace itself is far enough away from the highway not to be loud with car sounds. The food that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. Enjoy a good diet.
Saw a sign that stated best wings north of Toronto so decided to give it a try. They were fantastic big, juicy roasters with a tangy hot sauce (ordered, they have many different types) Liked them enough to go back 2 days later ...also excellent. Ordered a side of vegetables and got a ton old carrots and celery with dip. Only downer was the basket of chips we got the dregs Or bottom of the bag will give it a second go though. On wY out saw on another table the biggest plate of Nachos on the planet they may get a try as well as I will be back
