I have been here numerous times and they are still good every time. The only negatives are that they have gotten more expensive and the amount of udon and glass noodles have gotten smaller. Now onto the positives. I love the toro (beef belly), which I order every time, at least for my last few visits. My favorite broth is their Spicy Miso Tonkotsu. I love that they allow heat drops in both the broth and sauces if we want an extra kick. On my last visit, I did two heat drops in my broth and my goma, and one heat drop in my ponzu, which was perfect. I might do 3 or 4 heat drops in my broth for my next visit though. One thing that I tried in my last visit was the peach beer, which I thought was delicious.
I'm actually surprised I haven't written a review for this restaurant as it is one of my favorite places to go! For either a date night, with friends and family, or for just a quick lunch... great spot! I love it so much I have even ordered it to go! Broth is always delicious and with large portions. I've tried almost all of their broth but my favorite is the Tom Yum and I always ask for it to come spicy. Their meats are fresh and sliced per order. My husband loves their goma and I can't get enough of their ponzu sauce. Service is great! It's definitely a place where you sit and want to take your time, enjoy, have conversations, leave happy and full!! Try it!!! Fun times ahead!
My favorite shabu place ever! I've been a regular at Miyabi for years now and it's honestly the best shabu shabu. I love how they have a shabu and grill option, so you can have the best of both worlds. Their meat quality is amazing my favorites are the beef belly and brisket! I like it simple and just get the original broth, but if I'm feeling something more flavorful I'll get the Tom Yum broth. Miyabi has the best sauces, which is something I look forward to when eating shabu. The ponzu has the perfect tartness and the goma is AMAZING, it's savory, creamy, and packed with flavor! Also, the garlic topping they put on the rice is yummy; I always ask for extra. I love making porridge after my meal, so you can ask for furikake or bonito flakes. I take my porridge to go and I have another meal. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. Miyabi tends to get super busy so be prepared to wait, but it is always worth the wait : if you haven't tried Miyabi, you are definitely missing out.
Amazing food, we come here often. Spicey Taiwanese with a share size all to my self, every time.
