From awesome steak cuts to a full service deli, it's just what I'm used to in a nicer store in the metro. I would contend you could get the vast majority of things here that you could in a metro store.
I love this store, great variety of everything. Employees were nice and helpful. The bakery has a lot of good desserts that you won't find at cub. Prices are reasonable also
The prices here are somewhat higher than at many other places. However, the staff at this location is exceptionally helpful and friendly. They are always smiling and offering kind words. It really brings me joy when they take the time to acknowledge my kids and show them kindness. My son always looks forward to visiting this restaurant.
One major issue I encountered was at the checkout. There was only one cashier working on a busy Saturday morning, and the self-checkout aisles were also understaffed. Eventually, a young man opened a new lane, and I was able to check out there. A kind customer behind me even helped bag my groceries as the cashier seemed overwhelmed and unprepared. I understand it's challenging to find and retain staff, but having just one cashier on a busy summer Saturday is simply not enough.
I’m giving 3 stars because I visited last Friday at 6:30 PM. There's a sign at the sandwich/pizza station indicating deli hours from 11 AM to 7 PM (I don't remember the opening time, just that it stated they were open until 7). I saw the sandwich menu still displayed on the counter, so I looked it over and figured out what I wanted. I had some groceries to pick up, so I thought I would grab them quickly and return for my sandwich since it was only about half an hour until closing. When I came back at around 6:43, the menu was no longer out. I asked if they were still making sandwiches, and the woman told me they closed at 6 PM. I pointed out that the sign said they were open until 7, and that I had been there just 15 minutes earlier when the sign was still out. She simply moved the menu further away, ignored my comment, and walked off. The rest of the deli was still open, but they were starting to clean up. I was really frustrated. I just wanted a sandwich, which I would have ordered earlier had I known they were planning to close early on a busy Friday. The bottom line is: if your sign says you’re open until 7 PM, you need to stay open until 7. If you’re going to close earlier, you should change the sign to reflect that—perhaps to 6:45 or 6 (though that would be misleading, as they definitely don't close at 6). The worker was rude, and I ended up going to Subway instead for my sandwich. I won’t be returning for deli food there again, as I can't trust their hours.
