At the moment they can only eat when they reserve the whole place so that I had only takeout / delivery, but all I had from here was amazing. and healthy!?
I preordered a vegan benton from klasina and was blown away! it was so complicated and eating was absolutely delicious!
Klasina's vegan lunchtablettes seem to be a side: catering is probably the main owner. a local friend has booked three of us on a Saturday, and we were the only party there. (I know that the English version of their website says that reservations must be made three days in advance, so I don't know what kind my friend has worked to get us two days in advance). the ambiente felt nice and cozy. the plates (with soy milk mix soup) were ¥2,000 per person, and there was also a drink minimum of ¥600 per person I thought was a bit steep, as the cheapest drinks were coffee and tee. (they have wee, but this is of course even more expensive). dessert is not included (¥500), and she had only blueberry muffins on this day. She had to heat one of frozen in one of many again, with which I believe she was not very experienced: the first came cold in the middle out, so she tried again. the second was still a little cool in the middle, but after we waited 30 minutes to get the second, we decided to keep mama over it. the big plate itself was beautiful: the sweet tasted fresh, and our favorite items were the karaage and the curry tofu on a spit. the dill carrot salad was also delicious, also for my partner who is not vegan and normally does not eat carrots. Although it was good, I am not sure that I would go back a second time, as it looks like there are too many hoops that skip through, just to eat there, and a drink minimum seems superfluous.
Email klasina.hirogmail.com for reservation (English written/spoken). This is a small restaurant with a somewhat flexible schedule. I dined at Klasina on my last night in Tokyo and I was super impressed! Each dish I had was flavoursome and unique. The menu for that night was à la carte and I only wish my stomach could handle more food. I had a hijiki seaweed and tofu (wow, just wow!), kakiage of Maitage mushroom and Okinawan spinach, and stirfried black vinegar with soy meat and eggplant (I've yet to go wrong with eggplant in Japan). It looked like the menu changes regularly, so you might get some different options, but I'm sure they are also delicious! Don't pass this one up!
