We were travelling through, and my mum had booked ahead via booking com. Very friendly owner, great breakfast. Nice pub. Rooms very nice. It's an old building that Mary Queen of scits stayed in. It can't be changed in structure, so some floors are not straight and you do have to climb lots of stairs, so not good if you have disabilities Rooms: 5

A lovely old building with a great deal of charm widning stairs with various nooks and crannies. It was cold when we arrived, but our room was warm, clean and well presented with a generously sized bathroom. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful, approachable, and friendly in all they do. Perfectly central, on the main street, where you can usually park for free. Breakfast was lovely, well sized with fresh ingredients served in a lovely breakfast room. We will return!

This hotel could be and probably used to be brilliant Room size was great but floor was very sloped. No dinner available. Rooms: Family room, Good size, clean but looking tired. Floor very sloped which was odd when walking around.. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 3
