Darsalam - Jennings Lodge

Always liked this place but recently the quality of the food at the new high prices is just not cutting it anymore. Maybe getting it as takeout was the mistake because the falafels were pretty dry and stale but also the menu feels limited and could maybe use a revamp. If you give a bed of dry rice we need some sauce or liquid of any kind to go with it. The chickpea stew doesn't work it's too thick and sweet. Where's the garlic sauce and hot sauces? Wraps in general would probably be a huge money maker and welcomed on the limited menu.

Aside from the otherworldly ambience in Dar Salam- the shish kabob plate is one of the best dishes on all of Alberta. The perfect combination of flavor, soul, and tradition!
