Although the transaction was successful from my end and the money was deducted from my bank account, the staff claimed that they did not receive the payment. They asked me to pay in cash, which I did in good faith. They assured me that they would provide me with the necessary bank statements to process a refund from my bank. However, now that I am back in my hometown, I need the bank statement from Stepwell for September 25th in order to get my money back. Despite my requests, the staff at Stepwell is refusing to provide the statement and have even blocked my number. This behavior is deceitful and unfair as I have already paid them in cash and the money has been deducted from my account. I just need confirmation from Stepwell that they did not receive the payment through Google Pay, but they have been avoiding me and have now blocked me. I have essentially paid twice, which is extremely unfair and deceptive.
The view at this restaurant is truly stunning, and the rooftop terrace is well-designed and comfortable. Located directly at the beautiful stepwell, it offers the perfect spot for a memorable experience (I highly recommend jumping into the stepwell from the left balcony). They serve great tea, and I believe it is more suited for drinks than dining. The potato wedges were tasty, but there was a struggle to convey what vegan meant, and even after understanding, the staff struggled to accommodate it properly, which was disappointing. Although it was a bit frustrating, they did make an effort to try.
