Penny Man's Diner - Johnson City

Absolutely loved it! We're on a very low-carb diet and found it easy to order and make substitutions. The owner even offered to prepare our low-carb bread if we brought it, and they did just that! Exceptional customer service like this is hard to come by. While the restaurant has an older charm, that's part of its appeal. It's a fantastic place overall. The owner is wonderful, and her daughter served us with a great attitude.

I had the most amazing breakfast this morning! The Kitchen Sink Omelet was absolutely perfect, especially paired with rye bread toast. If you haven't dined here yet, you definitely should! Established in 1922, this spot is a historic gem in Johnson City, serving up fantastic food!

This restaurant is fantastic! It feels like you’ve traveled back in time to when diners were cozy and laid-back. The food is delicious and tastes just like home-cooked meals. The staff makes you feel like you’re spending time with family.

When we pulled up we were not to sure about it.. but I had a feeling the place was going to be a lost gem. It sure was! The food was fantastic, people were great and friendly. The best breakfast I've had in a long time. Sure beat the Waffle House.

This is an amazing diner! Affordable homemade country cooking at its best. Highly recommend.
