The East Main Grill - Johnson City

Delicious food, speedy and friendly service, and reasonably priced. The restaurant is located in a refurbished old lumberyard with both indoor and outdoor garden dining areas. The atmosphere is fantastic. We will definitely return.

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. Our group sampled several dishes, including Snapper, Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, Honey Pecan Chicken, Filet with Shrimp, Bratwurst, and Grilled Chicken Breast, and everyone was pleased with their meals. The Honey Pecan Chicken received the most praise. My wife had to step outside for a phone call right before our food arrived, and the server kindly took her meal back to keep it warm until she returned. This shows a great level of care. Overall, it’s a comfortable spot to enjoy dinner with family or friends.

I've been to Johnson City many times and do not know how I missed this gem. The food was so good, I ate here two nights in a row. Friendly and attentive staff.

I had the best chicken fried steak I've tasted in years! The mashed potatoes and green beans were also excellent. Great food overall!

The food is very good. Though they were out of 4 different items on the menu and those ordering had to change their orders. The service is poor. They should have known what items were not available. The young ladies who wait tables spend their timechatting and do not pay attention to their tables. We ran out of drinks multiple times.
