We only just recently discovered this restaurant and had a wonderful lunch celebration for my father's 70th birthday. The food and ambience were spot on, we enjoyed every course and left very full. The passion that Alicia and Jacob have for their food and wine is evident in the final product. From sourcing, to flavours and presentation. Looking forward to our next visit! Kid-friendliness: Alicia was very welcoming of our two little guys and even provided some toys for them to play with at the table.
Sorry to say but its very overpriced. $95 for appetiser, main and ice cream...large serves of very average quality... Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

A lovely little restaurant hidden away in Julimar approx. 15 minutes away from Toodyay. The business is a husband and wife team creating good old German Austria traditional food. The food is flavoursome and the servings are huge. We were a group of four and we all loved our meals. I had the Rouladen and would highly recommend. Also for fish lovers the whole grilled trout was amazing. We need to support these small country business otherwise they will disappear. Finally the chef came out to say hello to every table and introduced himself and asked if all was okay.
