We enjoyed lunch in the renovated old school house the Kohlsuppe is better than Kohlsuppe has a right to be. The location was ideal and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the grains (all cultivated locally), the bread and the process. We had fun flipping around and wandering around the grounds after lunch and took more bread home than we could consume. Great way to enjoy an afternoon.
The best secret country secret. Being a wonderful place and eating is wonderful and all healthy ingredients! Try it, it will exceed your expectations!
After reading the article in the register guard, some friends and I wanted to see the school house and eat there. We had her chili and cornbread, which was very good. The owner, Sue Hunton, came from the bakery to the school house to deliver a lot of history and showed so many details that we had not observed alone. It is worth going and because it is close, we will definitely go back. I brought some cookies home, a day old bad luck and a piece of apple cake and they were all delicious.
This place is amazing! First visit was with residents of work, the staff was friendly and warm! Ging back with my partner today and they remembered me! We look forward to the family dinner we plan, the children will love it!
It is a beautiful area with nice caring people. Being from Southern Cali, places like this are not seen often. I recommend people go out and just enjoy the views and good people.
