Contribuer aux commentairesThe female manager was the rudest person I have ever encountered. The waitress had made a mistake on a menu item. When we questioned the error, the manger came over and dropped f bombs. Really? With a attitude like that and you're in the service industry? Lady, you need to be away from people and should be washing dishes and taking trash to the dumpster. You have zero people skills!
Looks like there cashing ??? in past few day this icon has pull in the rug and locked down everything sad to see it closed, but last team , had a lot to be desired : keep looking for the offiical word as this report is by observation not facts
Sally was horrible, she was on her phone completely unpleasant. I can't believe that a manager would be so unprofessional. She was rude and I will never come back again. I have told all my friends that this place needs to work on there people skills.
I have been a customer here for years and I know sally and this is so out of character for her. She has always been very nice to everyone. I notice in reading these comments that they are a couple hours apart from each other. And this is a false accusation and I will be telling sally the manager on Monday to seek out a lawyer for defamation of character.
I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 20 years, and this was just my third time eating at Brickyard. The last time was 7 or 8 years ago, I got a burger and remembered it just being OK — not good not bad, but no reason for me to rush back. Last night, I had some friends up in the area from Fort Lauderdale and we wanted to go somewhere nearby that had a good menu and nice selection of beers. The first thing that should’ve been a tell was having maybe tables seated in the pretty large restaurant at 7pm on a Friday. We sat inside but, with the patio doors kept open, the scent of the few cigarette smokers seated outside was freely wafting in. My friends and I all went through the menu and began placing our order. I ordered the taco salad (a taco shell bowl with grilled chicken, shredded cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and refried beans… ya know, taco ingredients) and was surprised to be asked by the waiter if I wanted that with ranch, bleu cheese or balsamic vinegarette — not salsa or taco sauce as with every taco bowl I’ve had before. I went with vinaigrette. My next friend ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. The waiter leaned over and quietly but emphatically said to him, “DON’T get that. It’s not good. Don’t bother with the chicken parm either. That’s the last thing you’d want to get here.” He went with a flatbread pizza and ordered one of the two IPA beers on the menu — that one, at supposed microbrewery — was out of stock, so reluctantly went with the other IPA which was in stock. Friend #3 asked the waiter if he should get the quesadilla or fajitas. Without hesitation, the waiter said to get the quesadilla because the fajita is essentially the same thing, just more money, messy, but you have to make it yourself. Finally, my last friend got the steak salad. The orders came out pretty quickly. For my taco salad, the balsamic vinaigrette was not the right choice, but neither would have been the ranch or bleu cheese. Salsa or taco sauce really are the only correct choices, which weren’t available. It also came without the refried beans, which the kitchen was out of, so it was just grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, a tablespoon each of shredded cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. A pretty sad salad. My next friend’s flatbread and beer were adequate. Friend #3’s quesadilla was described as “Taco Bell quality” and only made it through half, so that that as you will. Finally, the steak on my friend’s steak salad was at least 50% fat, so required a decent amount of trimming while eating. Having now eaten here three times in maybe 15 years, each meal being more disappointing than the last, I can definitely ay this one is now permanently off the list.
