The menu is limited compared to McMenamin's (where the food is prepared) and takes a little longer to arrive but you shouldn't come here if fast food is your primary goal. The beverage service is quick and courteous and the tables outside are a wonderful place to watch boats and fishermen when the weather allows. Go check it out!
This is my FAV McMenamins location in Kalama! I love the small cozy quaint feeling, the fireplace is warm and the attention to detail is gorgeous. The bartenders, Monica and Jeremy are pretty rad also I’m not a beer drinker, I will go for a glass of wine or a chai latte, hubby loves a cold beer. Highly recommend you take a trip! Our bartender Monica is so friendly, and knows so much about explaining the passports to guests who are confused have questions, love the place Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The warm atmosphere is indicative of most of the McMenamins we have been to. We stopped here for lunch on our way up for an overnight at the Anderson School McMenamins in Bothell. The Hawaiian sandwich I had was excellent and the service was good. I just thought $24 for a sandwich and a few fries was a lot. I always weigh value and cost on any purchase. I felt this was excessive.
Cozy cottage walking distance to the Kalama Harbor Lodge. Attentive staff makes sure you are enjoying the experience. Play cribbage or backgammon while you enjoy your wine beer or spirits while trains roll by. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
