Sykes Diner Market - Kalispell

Worst breakfast experience I’ve had in Kalispell. Owner is inconsiderate and rude. Will not be returning.

I went to Sykes the other day and was super excited as it was my first time there. My boyfriend has been there many times and has always said how good it was! Well it wasn’t . I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was gross and took forever to chew. We told the waitress and she told us “I wish you would have said something sooner” well we would have if we were actually checked in with us more than once. The rest of the food was great but that was ruined when we went to just tell the manager about our experience. Instead of taking the criticism we were met with rude and passive agressive remarks. She went back to the kitchen just to prove us wrong and eat our food that was bussed…while we were waiting we also received nasty glares from the cooks. Sorry you can’t take some criticism from those who give you business. Maybe learn to be nice and not petty. I can say proudly we will NEVER return. Also the atmosphere is wack definitely hospital cafeteria vibes. Bojangles is better and they know customer service! Go there instead!

Really solid breakfast. B&G was delicious. Big portions, good service.

Portions were huge! Coffee only 10 cent before 9 am. Large restaurant with gift shop. Clean restrooms. Staff very friendly.

Oh yes please! My BF is willing to make the 2 hr drive from CDA as it’s that good. Dietary restrictions: I’m GF and had a happy tummy after.
