Empanadas Chimi

Dishonest business practice. They ask if you want to try their spicy sauce. What they mean is do you want to purchase a small cup of sauce for 0.75 that is not listed anywhere on their menu. The empanadas are not bad but this is such a sleazy way to rip off your customers.

Amazing place and vibe. Unfortunately only got a few chimiquesp but would absolutely come back. Wish it was closer.

Was recommended this place because I was in the area. Had ordered the half a dozen and tried 1 of each empanada. The only one I really liked was the beef and chicken. The rest of the empanadas weren't that great. Their chimi churi sauce and red sauce was a little to vinegary for me. I was hoping the chimiqueso would be better then when I tried it but it might have been because we didnt eat it until we got home which was maybe about 20 mins. The other ones we tried were a little dry to me. Ordering was easy, I was able to place the order online for pick up. Parking was difficult, I had to park in the red and run out to get it real quick.

Best chimichurri, hella authentic and the Empanadas are crispy and delicious! If you're in the NELA area you must try the cheese ones.
