They should also consider adding more creative cocktails with better presentation to spice things up. The lights could be dimmed in the evening, and the music selection could be improved to create a better ambience worthy of the prices. The TVs are also distracting and add to the sports bar vibe so I would get rid of those too.Overall, I think this place has potential. I really want it to succeed, but I think they need to make some changes to really get return customers. I would totally return to try it again and leave a new review if management makes some changes.
They were able to host my large group of 10 last minute, the food was healthy, fresh, and delicious, the cocktails were great, and the DJ and owner was a special surprise who kept my group dancing through dinner!
Ordered the mixed combo with a side of lentil soup and baba for a couple of hangry truck driving types (co-pilot in photo) and this truly did not disappoint! I am somewhat of a middle-eastern food snob as I have been eating and making it for over 50 of my 60 years and this is so very good I would be proud to say I had made it myself. A lot of “middle-eastern” places serve food that is more “inspired by” then the actual thing, and after you add in a bored line cook the recipes become very blah. Not so here, all the items are spiced subtly but correctly, even the saffron rice which almost always tastes like rice with yellow food coloring at most places. The spicing on everything was done to perfection- subtle but prominent and easily distinguished from each other.Rare that I give a five star, especially when I order it from a delivery service but these people have hit it out of the park. Well done, Habibi!
Kid-friendliness: Kids love this restaurantWheelchair accessibility: I am a wheelchair user and it was accessible for me.
Hidden Gem! It’s my friends and I’s go to for a night out. We usually get the mixed appetizer plate with drinks or a few different entrees so we can try different plates since there are too many yummy options to choose from. Parking is very convenient and food prices are fitting (around $20-$30). Servers are nice and the service is quick. I’m already planning the next brunch.
