Came on a busy Friday. We sat outside, and the wait staff were still very attentive. Great food, with delicious Korean pickles and appetizers.
Service was great but their beef bowls are not it.The tartare bowl was fine as it had some seasoning to it,but the other bowls (ribeye, ggotsal) absolutely had no seasoning to it.To charge $16 before tax for a bowl that just has rice, veggies with no dressing, and meat with no salt and pepper thrown on, this is criminal. I can make that in 3 minutes at home. Come on.
I've been to most KBBQ spots in Ktown; from the $9.99 AYCE to the top dollar pay per plate restaurants and WHW has been my go to spot for the last 2 years.First thing that stands out is their service. The restaurant isn't as big as most KBBQ places in ktown so they really take care of you. It's well staffed and the waiters are constantly working the grill so all you do is eat The quality is top notch. Their brisket marbling is better than most if not the best I've had so far. To be honest, you cant go wrong with any of their cuts.Price point is on the higher side but worth the ambience, service and quality. Parking : Not the best as you are in the heart of KTown but they do have a parking garage next to their restaurant for $15-20 depending on the day. On your lucky day you may find street parking. My favorite part about this place is that its open late throughout the week. I'll drive down from Bakersfield and catch dinner here before catching a red-eye flight if I'm traveling the night of or the morning after. This place does not disappoint.P.S. They are super accommodating; I requested a part of 20 on a slow night and they didnt hesitate to book the reservation. HAPPY EATING!
Woo Hyang Woo is Korean BBQ spot with lunch specials and variety of options. The staff could've been more attentive given we were the only ones in the restaurant. There's free parking on weekdays and 10 parking on weekends Cash only. Parking lot will refund you with proof of purchase (receipt); You pay full price, then get refunded. For the food: The marinated short rib and boneless short rib were tender and flavorful. The bulgogi was too soft and needed more texture. All the marinates were not too sweet and well balanced. The meal come with soybean soup and side dishes.
