Tampico Authentic Mexican - Kansas

Our experience at Tampico took off great and quickly crashed and burned. Upon sitting down, our waiter immediately brought us chips, salsa, waters . We ordered three of the $5 tacos specials very affordable , nachos, and a bean rice burrito. Best Mexican restaurant in Leavenworth and maybe all of Kansas. About average compared to some Mexican restaurants in California, which is a good thing. If you are looking for Mexican food in the Midwest, then come here.

My son's tacos were burned. The food was bland. No salt on the margarita. Salsa was bland. The service was not great. They weren't good with kids.

Great service, great food, and cheap drinks! I wish we lived closer. We really enjoyed our meal.
