Erhartova Cukrárna - Karlin

I couldn't resist stopping by this bakery/cafe near the Letenske Namesti tram stop in Prague. Both times I had to do takeaway because there was no seating available, but it was worth it. I tried the chocolate Ganache tart, Almond tart with a fruit filling, raspberry mousse, and Citron cream layered between chocolate cake rounds - and they were all delicious. The chocolate Ganache was rich and the glaze was outstanding. The almond tart had a tasty fruit jam filling, and the raspberry mousse had a nice tart glaze. But the highlight was the blueberry mousse with a beautiful blue glaze like a starry night sky, sitting on top of a coconut flavored cake. Truly a work of art. I also heard the macarons are pretty good. I wish I could visit this place every day, but I have to leave Prague tomorrow.

We had to take away, even I'm not crazy about sweet I loved the macaroons, the lemon cheesecake and the fruit tart. My GF had the apple pie, carrot cake and it was good

Great. I often come here with my wife and enjoy it. I have never been disappointed so far and the price is worth the quality. The space is a bit cramped and there is often a crowd, but the service always handles it quickly. The selection of cakes and desserts is quite wide, including ice cream, babovka, coffee... basically a typical modern concept pastry shop. If someone misses the classic cream pastries and cream rolls, they can go to the neighbors where the pastry shop is like from the 70s.

We order cakes from Z Erhart's patisserie for all family events and we have never been disappointed. The cakes are not only beautiful to look at, but they also taste delicious. They have many beautiful sample cakes on their website, but all the cakes we ordered were custom made to our specifications. All the fillings in the cakes were excellent, but the clear winner is the light, summery yogurt-raspberry version.
