Hidden surprise. Home cooked meals with perfect authentic style and taste. Climb up the abandoned-looking concrete stairs on the side of the cliff to get to this rustic and well positioned lookout spot with toilet facilities. Overlooking Merlin beach which is a white sand bay between two mountains. Tong is the manager and speaks English after spending 17yrs in Switzerland. The food was a highlight of our week of tasting local dishes. We had Satay chicken, fish, mango sticky rice, spring rolls.. and a couple of cold beers of course. Next door is massage and also elephant feeding.
Fabulous food, I had green Thai curry, cooked to heat/spice required, service was great. Views are amazing. Highly recommend eating here. Off the beaten track experience, please don't let the decor put you off enjoying fantastic Thai food
Classic Thai seaside seafood vibes. Haven’t eaten but I’m pretty sure the food is authentic Thai taste. However, the staffs weren’t welcoming at all. There was no one, the staffs were sitting and casually chatting, told to look at one of the menus lying on the table. Everything was overpriced no kid’s table (saw a rusty worn down one) so I decided not to eat there. Compared to marriot’s Thai kitchen, this place is slightly cheaper, but seeing the photos, portions are almost half size of marriot’s. They could have invested a bit more with their current prices. Very nice view, though. Probably good place to get seafood and variety if you don’t mind the price and service.
Quiet, lovely place to have a drink and a dinner in Tritang Beach,; not open every day, it depends if they want work or not Very good massaman curry
