Red Lobster - Katy

The restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive. We ordered endless shrimps and the waiter held the shrimps coming. The cookies were warm and fresh

I wanted to come by as I haven't been in a Red Lobster for years. We sat immediately and Joyce, our server, was very fast to bring our drinks and take our order. The cookies were amazing as usual and the food came out on time. The food was very delicious and the portions were a good size. The manager went by and checked on our table what I always appreciate when I go to eat. We had some leftovers and look forward to eating them tomorrow.

On Saturday I had a build you own meal pick two (fried shrimp, campi, salad and broccoli) and ordered it online via board pickup. I received a text at 7:07 that my order was received and I received another text at 19:14 that my order was ready. I was in Katy Mills Mall when I ordered the food, so I went straight to the restaurant and waited for the parking lot from 7:07 to 19:30. I've never been greeted, nor has anyone brought out my food. I called the restaurant at 19:30, and the host said you must come because we're super busy. I went to the restaurant and the host pointed to the To-go area at the bar and told me to wait there. Four more guests waited for different reasons, so I had to wait until it was my turn. The bartender said she'd go and get the to-go person, but she brought my food. I checked my food in the car and while the food was warm, my fried shrimps were soggy because it has it in the same container as my broccoli that has moisture of butter and water. Usually the vegetables are placed with a lid in a cup or can. I didn't want to go back to the restaurant, so I went home and ate the food, how best I could pick up the soggy bread. Next time I follow my first thought and go to the place near my house. I was very overwhelmed by this experience.

We had the best dinner tonight. Our server was Ismail and he was wonderful!! Crabs were also at the top.

Nothing I love more than red lobster. The meal was absolutely fresh which I loved the most. Everything was well made and perfectly portioned and just overall a great experience. Our table was clean and we were sat right away and explained the specials by both the host and our waiter Niko. Apart from the cleanliness and the amazing food our waiter Niko was really the one to set the bar high. He was fast, efficient, kind, a great conversationalist, precise and prompt, and the best part he automatically did refills without having to say anything. A waiter who just notices is by far the best server. Another key part was the manager doing table touches to ensure we were happy and taken care of and bringing the genuine enthusiasm to the table was great! I always eat here but I will be 100% coming more often and asking for NIKO!
