Often visit the Chelsea Bun as it is local to where I work. Always had good service here and good food. Sometimes the combinations on the plate can be surprising (i seem to remember getting lots of dill pickles once with sausages and mash). Lovely upstairs room in the Summer gets the sun. Nice place for a low budget rendezvous.
Hmmm... an established Chelsea favourite. A local hangout. Generations have passed through it, but tired is tired, and bad cooking is well, bad cooking. It 's the type of place you wouldn 't take your family, that you might consider if you 're not too worried about your palate or your food. With a tiny bit of effort (and perhaps some higher quality ingredients! this place could be a real jewel, but right now it 's at the lower end of the Gosh, we 're out of options spectrum and it can 't be recommended unless you 're a builder looking for a cheap, greasy spoon.
The restaurant has a fantastic menu with plenty of choices to please everyone. The owner takes great care of both the staff and customers, ensuring a wonderful dining experience for all. The food is delicious and served quickly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
I have driven past this restaurant for the past 20 years but never thought to go in. However, last week I met up with friends for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a great mix of locals and workers, delicious breakfast options, and very reasonable prices. I promise to make the most of it in the next 20 years. Well done!
